Grandvalira is a ski resort located in Andorra, which includes the skiable sectors of two of the seven Andorran “parishes” (the equivalent of provinces). It was founded in 2003 with the union of two of the most historic resorts in the Pyrenees, Pas de la Casa / Grau Roig / Encamp (founded in 1956) and Soldeu / El Tarter / Canillo (founded in 1964).
This union allowed the creation of the largest resort in the Pyrenees and one of the largest in Europe, with 210 kilometres of pistes, a total of 128 pistes of all levels and a unique ski pass for the enjoyment of this entire skiable area. It is in the season that begins in 2019 when the union with the rest of the domain and the new Peretol sector is created, increasing the number of slopes to 138.
