This season, our priority is to offer our clients all the confidence and tranquillity they need when booking their holiday in Grandvalira. Therefore, all ski passes of two or more days for Grandvalira and Ordino Arcalís will include free Covid-19 insurance, which will cover the cost of health care, as well as the reimbursement of ski passes and resort and accommodation services taken out and not used, in the event that the skier is diagnosed positive for Covid-19 during his or her stay in Andorra.
What does this insurance cover?
- Medical, surgical, hospital and/or pharmaceutical care of the insured person in Andorra.
- Expenses of repatriation to his habitual residence.
- Expenses of stay in a hotel in Andorra for medical quarantine up to 10 days.
- Travel of an accompanying person to Andorra and his stay in a hotel, if the insured person has travelled alone.
- Coverage up to a maximum of 3.000 Euros in medical expenses and 600 Euros per insured person for the reimbursement of the forfaits and the services of station and accommodation contracted and not enjoyed.
Covid Gold Insurance
Optionally, and for only 2.90 euros/day/person, there is the possibility of adding an additional cover to the free insurance. This Gold coverage, contemplates the following expenses :
- Expenses for the cancellation of the trip not begun if the insured person communicates two days before his arrival in Andorra that he cannot make the trip due to a diagnosis of Covid-19.
- Coverage of up to 50.000 Euros of medical expenses in Andorra and up to 2.500 Euros for the reimbursement of ski passes and station and accommodation services contracted but not used.
Covid Silver Insurance
Those customers who have already started the journey and are already in Andorra and want to buy a Covid insurance at the ticket office, can purchase the COVID Silver insurance for a price of 1.70 euro/day/person.
It includes the following additional benefits :
- Coverage of up to 50,000 euros for medical expenses in Andorra and up to 2,500 euros for reimbursement of ski passes and station and accommodation services contracted but not used.
Covid Travel Insurance
This coverage is for those skiers who only want to purchase insurance coverage for the reimbursement of their uninitiated trip. The price is 1.20 euros/day/person.
